Partier og interesseorganisasjoner i Norge
Partier och interesseorganisationer i Norden København: Nord 2001:8 (2001)
The chapter deals with the development of the Norwegian Labour Party and Centre Party and their relationship with the Confederation of Trade Unions and the Farmers' Union respectively from 1950 to 2000. The empirical analysis does not uniformely support the standard hypothesis of weakened ties by the late 1990s. Partly because the party-union connection already had become much weaker by the mid- century in the case of the Centre Party. But also because there still are fairly strong links between the Labour Party and the trade unions.
